- Tue Nov 25, 2014 6:00 am #350060 I am gonna be rebuilding a b18b1. Does anyone in Ohio know of a reputable machine shop that can do the machining for me? Preferably around the Cleveland area but anywhere in Ohio will work as long as they can be trusted.

- Tue Nov 25, 2014 2:30 pm #350067 I had Michael's Racing Engines in Macedonia do the bore, hone & micro polish crank on my z6 back in '06. No complaints.
I had a turbo balanced at R & R Engine & Machine in Akron because I heard good things about them. I'd go back there again as well.

- Thu Nov 27, 2014 5:25 am #350100 Alrighty, thanks Brian. I emailed powerline engines next to my firm but they won't do it. They only work on v8s they said. I found out the the #3 rod cap came loose and caused the bearing to spin. Everything else looks good except that rod, I am not sure about the crank yet though. That will be the deciding factor if I rebuild or replace.
