aftermarket cam help

- Thu Mar 01, 2012 12:39 am #296659 im in the market for a cam for my d16z6 looking for a good daily drivable motor i just want to wake it up a little already have a cold air intake and catback and plans to get a header and high flow cat so i thought about getting a cam and cam gear and need some direction

- Thu Mar 01, 2012 1:55 am #296664 If you got cash check out Bisimoto engineering. Skunk2, maybe like stage 1 if you go any higher you'll have to upgrade your valves, springs, etc. Hope that info helped :)

Don't worry i get the same on my b16.
When i had my z6 not only did i have the cam but i also had the head ported. Idk if that helped me get 40mpg on 91 octane.
