i have a d16y8 head that im about to swap on to my d15b7(mini me) but im wondering if i can hose it done once im done degreasing it. i want to remove any built up thats in the exhaust and intake side and exterior of the head.

will the water harm it in any way? or just a simple air dry will sufice?

I'd blow it out w/ an air compressor after and then spray it down with some WD40.
THe head is aluminum, so it won't rust but you don't water sitting/drying on the other parts like cam, rockers, springs, valves, cam gear etc...

cool i just thought maybe i would need to wash off the chemical but you make sense wd-40 will keep the parts from rusting. ill finish it up tomorrow. thnk teal.
