Civic EG

i put a 1.5vtec engine in a eg saloon it had a b16a2 in it before ! its originally a eg 8 !
everything all bolted in + all loom connected
i started it up and i fired straight away once it got fuel only at idle its bouncing up and down if you get me . i flashed the ecu and got 6 7 10 and 20
the engine came out of eg4 and i drove it when it was in the car and everything was perfect no engine lights ect.
any one any ideas what it could be or anyone experienced a conversion from b to d series?

flash codes 6 = throttle position sensor
7= water temp sensor
10=air intake sensor
20=electrical load sensor

Why did you take the b16 out mate?
Is the d15 from a vei? I am sure that the wiring has to be modified for the -e part of the vtec to work. Did you replug the map sensor in, and a common one is putting the map sensor plug into the tps and vice versa. Stuart

im using a p08 man

my mate owned the car before me and we took the engine out for his track car and i bought the rolling shell off him and dropped the d15 in it
