#278601 So i decided to mill my type r head 0.0196in. (20,000s of an in.) and run a custom cometic head gasket at (22,500s of an in.) which will put me right at 11.5:1 CR. Now my question is is this safe for valve to piston clearance?

Hit me up with any knowledge thanks!

#278607 according to the zeal compression calculator http://www.zealautowerks.com/bseries.html
you'd have about .006in clearance and an 11.7:1 ratio. thats assuming you are using a jdm type r block with stock internals. i may have done the headgsket size wrong
play around with it to see.
best way would be to clay it really.
check this out too. http://www.diyporting.com/PVC.html has a couple of different p/v c measuring methods.
