I hope I can ask an exhaust question on this engine forum. I just purchased a Tri Y long tube header that has a 2.5" collector. I also purchased a 2.5" cat-back exhaust. The Tri Y header is so long that it almost completely eliminates the CAT. I need a test pipe between the header and exhaust. Does an exhaust shop have the appropriate 2 bolt and 3 bolt flanges in 2.5" diameter to construct a test pipe for me? Or, should I just purchase an adjustable 2.5" test pipe? If so, what brand? Any ideas would be welcomed. This car is strictly for road course racing. Thanks.

Depending on your area an exhaust shop may not make the piece for you, I know a lot of shops around my area wont, because its illegal to eliminate the cat.

You can buy adjustable test pipes off eBay and other sites fairly cheap and they're bolt on. Thats what I'd do.
