#265340 i have a manual b16a at the present time but the rings are bad and it smokes alot....im getting a auto B16a for cheap

so my question is if i buy the Auto B16a and use my gear box on it will i have to do any extra stuff ECU wise?

and will it perform the same as my manual B16a motor?

#265378 Nope, engines are the same, transmissions are different. The only thing you will do to the engine is take off the flex plate and put your flywheel, clutch & pressure plate on :thumb:

And use the longer flywheel bolts, not the short flex plate bolts :thumb:

yes this is true.

Why not just put the cams from your old B16 into the new one?
