engine making a noise, need some input

- Thu May 12, 2011 6:05 pm #254943 soo my motor is making a quick knocking sound when u give it a rev from idle, it shakes when it does this too. oil was a little low soo i topped it off, stopped for a while but its back doing it. and from a dead stop, shifting through second, its kinda boggy in the low rpm's until u get past about 2800-3000. could it be dizzy related also? engine is d15b7

- Sat May 21, 2011 1:21 am #256137 move your dizzy from advanced to retarded while running and find where it stops (if at all) and replace plugs wires and dizzy cap if this fixes it
