#250251 There needs to be one allmighty sticky thread on pulsing idles
This seems to be extremely common

The things it could be:
Air in your coolant system
Vacuum leek
Clogged IACV
most likely the FITV

Theres probably more reasons for haunting idle

If you can get under the hood
Remove your FITV and IACV
Loosly tighten screw inside FITV and clean IACV
Put both valves back on
Then bleed your coolant

#252323 i have the same problem, not trying to thread jack, but my idle hunts from 1000-2000 at idle only when i tap the throttle once. if i start it up cold it will idle high, and then it'll hunt when i press the gas. its weird it wont hunt if i dont touch the gas pedal.

before i had my pcv valve replaced(my old one broke) my hunting idle stayed the same even after warm, after replacing it with a new one, the hunting idle goes away when warm, but didnt fix it when cold.

btw i have a b16 with no FITV.

u should try to replace ur PCV first but be careful those things are a bitch to remove if it breaks on u
