Hi you guys i have a hatchy eg and when i am reversing my car with the wheel at full lock there is a knocking from the passenger side almost a clicking sound and was just wondering what the problem may be? Also when taking off slowly in the car it tends to sorta lock up and give a little jump before it moves off. just wondering if these problems are related and what they may be. any help is appreciated. thanks.

sounds like your cv axle

Yea a mate of mine told it could also be a wheel bearing maybe?. A little unsure. i also heard it could be the track rod?

Take the wheel off and have a look.

cv halfshaft i myself have never heard a wheel bearing "click" or "knock"

Thanks for the replies guys. turns out a guy wants to swap for my car as is so i dont have to worry about doing nothing to the wheels or elsewhere now. . Thanks for the help though. gonna post up pics of the new car saturday.
