[i]I'm building a g23 with h2b Conversion turbo'd in my eg coupe I'm gonna start taking pictures of her as I go along any questions will be answered I've built 2 that are running strong!
The g23 is a hybrid engine that's between an f and h engine put together! So we call it a g.... you can build it 2 ways with an f23 block or a f22
I'm using an f22 block got it for free from a friend, and my h head hell ya!
With a f22 stock block and an OEM h22 head the Compression ratio is 8:4:1 fu$%ing horrible, so I'm opting for arias pistons and eagle rods with a 11:5:1 compression ratio with a 86mm bore, this will put me at 10:1:1 ratio, according to the guys at endyn... WWW.theoldone.com those guys, I used a compression calculator I found on line and they are right, perfect for turbo... I like the way a gsr Turbo feels the acceleration...
U can use higher compression pistons with proper tuning!!!
Tuning is key with my build!
The f22 has a 85mm bore so I'm boring the cast iron sleeves 1mm larger... So what there is still 2mm of room for boring....
I'm tearing the block down tomorrow and will take pics of everything.
