my car squeals every time I turn it off. It's a short squeal, doesn't seem to effect performance, but it does get annoying and it's kinda embarrassing. No idea what it is, hope someone can shed some light on this.

is your belt loose?

no normal serp belt is what i was talking about. if it's coming from the timing belt get it looked at.
you can take your serp belt off and try that to see if the noise is gone with it off

is it hard to take it off and put it back in? also, which one is it?

Lol. Not if you place it at Top Dead Center then take it off. the normal way.
