Civic EG

Hey guys - my cat died.

Was fitting my cat back, couldn't get it off. thought "Oh, just saw the bolts off" "oh, cock."

Now I need a new cat, and my car is off the road until I get one lol.

Are all cats the same? like would an EK hatch one fit an EG coupe? thanks

I think the EK one will fit. I have an integra one on mine

The 92-95 Civic DX,LX,EX,Si Model Cats can be swapped with 96-00 EX and Si Cats. The 94-01 Integra cats will swap with the above mentioned as well.

Vtec-E Models and the 96-00 DX(or any model equiped with the d16y7) stock cat is right in the header, not under the engine as the performance d series engines have.

magnaflow has $50 dollor high flow cats on eBay.

If you have the VX with VTEC-E you will need anouther VX or HX Cat.

my solution to a cat going out was went to a yard and asked for blown cats, gave them to mee forr free, took a punch and slammed out all of the shit inside welded it on my exhaust ,,,, my high flow cat : )
