Civic EG

So this has been happening since about a month ago. If i leave the car out on a hot day (I.E. when im at school), it will not start. Usually i have to wait until i hear the fuel pump and then push the gas down and then crank over.

I went to start it today and i hear no pump, and it wont start at all. i have been trying since 2 of this afternoon with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like a bad main relay, very common to start crapping out when the weather gets hot.
do a search for "main and relay" on here and you'll find everything you need to know

$60 from the dealer or if you are good with solder, you can repair your old one

BINGO! teal got it on the money. same thing happened to me last year! got a brand new one havent had an issue since!!!
