i have a 95 civic d16z6 vtech the car turns on perfect no misfires nothing...but when i try to run or rev it up it wont go pass 2,000 rpm it will reach 2200rpm misfiring and throwing fire from the exhaust pls helppp......

is this a swap? or the stock motor in the car?

Sounds like a timing issue to me. Check your timing with a timing light, Your timing is probably to advanced.

my cuz's h22 lude did the same thing. make sure ur dizzy is centered and the timing is dead on. start with the basic's
