ok so i would like to have this done by the end of the winter and back on the road by like spring or summer so here we go. i currently have a h22 with a h2b kit on it i have another block that i was gona ship off and have built but with sleeves and machine work by darton. once they get done ass raping me just the block is gona be arround 2000.00 dollars. i was seriously thinking about going k20 but i just dont know if that is feasable. with money and all i mean lets face it short of hitting the lottery my pocket is gona be screaming. so then i have been looking at the b18c type r 98 spec. its a newer engine, better walls then the h22 so i would only have to sleave if i wanted boost. and i already have a 2000 si trans so i would only need a engine. what is everyones thoughts on this. if you have another engine selection please chime in i would like to hear as much advice as i can get before i rush out and just start buying shit that as an end result will either not make me happy in the long run or just aint worth the money.

how much more do you want to spend? The K swap will set you back a bit. Plus will you make your money back selling the things you already bought for your current plan?

I say stick with the current setup. If you don't get the next block done, you'll still have an H22 EG which is already bad ass

im just worried about the weak walls of the h22 and the fact that the si trans that i have is a high rpm and i dont know im just worried that a stock h22 wont be able to handle the load

well i suppose its done. i found a h22a euro type r for a decient price. under what i was looking to pay for a b18c which i dont understand? but wtf its on its way and thats that will post up some nice pics when she gets here

i didnt want to make it a quick one but i just got my "TAGS" so since the car has the h2b kit in it but the block had a rod through it. teal was the only one to chime in and say i might as well stay with what i got. i mean the b18c is much more desirable by other ppl if i went to sell the car cause its a type r but i got the parts already to do the h so might as well utilize them
