ok some you know that i have this problem with my car

for some reason it was loosin all its power aftre it warmed up
and it would bog down and i was gettin real shitty gas mileage

well i unpluged my o2 sensor and the car ran great due to it runnin rich
and still have shitty gas mileage cause it spitin it out the exhaust

so my o2 is PLUGED in my car runs normal in OPEN LOOP and as the car heats up it goes into CLOSED LOOP my car runs really lean, which it suppsoed to run rich-lean-rich-lean..so on,

but when my o2 is UNPLUGED my car runs real rich
and it stayes rich throught out both open and closed loop

my question to ya'll is,
is this my o2 or is it somethin else

i dont wanna replace it and have this same problem thats why im askin :thumb:

thanks

so the original problem is fixed but now your idle is bouncing? vacuum leak maybe? It is something that you recently did or changed... could you have damaged the MAP when you cleaned it?

well yeah, it's kinda the main component to the AFR's and having a bum o2 can throw off your ecu without throwing a CEL... so i would definitely start there, i know they ain't cheap, my bosch was like $100

they just don't last forever, they see a lot of high temperatures.

Also dropping one can damage it. driving around extremely rich can mess one up...
