what makes an SiR an SiR.

what i mean by this is what makes it differnt from your run of the mill civic ferio?

white dials, B16 motor, front seats, rear seats, front lip. rims? any thing else that makes it stand out from the rest?

to be honest its hard.

because on an Sir they have plenty of options that can come on NON SIR cars

optional rear recaro seats the one with the armrest that goes to the rear deck lid

i seen those one Non sir Cars with different color/patterens than the sir's


power windows/ locks... same as the non Sir's

i would guess the main differnce is that some Sir's come with the White face guage and B16 engine

while VTI (should be the equivalent to SiR) has Black face Guage and B16 engine.

Sir-S has the flat folding BLACK interior (hatch back)

Sir come with Gray or yellow or what ever else color it came in (hatchback)

etc..

i made the diy on the white dials and im doing the rear seats etc. rear wiper....ill skip that and a b16... hmmm how about a supercharged d16a7. trying to source a z6 head tho.

was just wonder what else made it stand out thanks.

in addition to this.. i've seen only in Sirs that the roof is trimmed with fabric. in others is only plastic. (maybe im wrong.. im not sure)

another optional that comes in Sir is the rear wiper

All JDM civics that ive seen have retracable mirrors... (As in all trim levels.

Ive seen Non Sir's have black interior

flares came in other trims too that was an option for all cars....

i own jdm eg4 and it doesnt have ELECTRIC retractable mirrors.

yes there are non-eg6 that have black interior. my point was eg6 that have black interior are rare.

about flares, maybe they are different depends on which country..

There are alot of options for the EG,
keeping with the SIr this is what i`ve noted

hehe... all the SIR type have black interior, which include, the steering,the gear knob,double din cd console and much more... also the easiest way to see a SIR civic is the seats which is very different from non SIR.. the front sit is semi bucket which have a square hole and the rear seats which only can fitted 2 person (semi bucket)......

I have seen sir`s with grey interior including the dash and all other bits 2........................
