i have read that u can put a y8 intake mani on a z6 head with a h22 tb.
but id much rather jus put a y8 head and mani and y8 tb on my z6.
which is the better route??

good question...but i thought the z6 TB and mani were better than the y8.

the y8 head on the z6 will rise compression, the y8 mani is better because it has a larger plenum. now the y8 tb is the same size of the z6, you could run a b16a, a gsr, or h22 they are all 3, 60 mm and the itr is 62mm. imo i wouldnt run any bigger then the itr throttle body on a na motor with little mods.

so would i get better air flow by jus puttin on a y8 mani and keeping my z6 tb?

The y8 is supposed to have better flow for mid range rpm while the z6 intake is said to be slightly better at high rpm. I have never seen a Dyno comparison but doubt the difference is enough to feel.
