pretty sure it's the chassis code for a South African EG

in malaysia.. SR4 generally refers to the 4 door 5th gen civic (aka 4 door EGs)

while SR3 refers to the hatch...

even some part numbers from honda will have "SR3" or "SR4" in them...like the front windscreen moulding i bought recently.

we no have coupes here...unless personally imported.
