#252366 I need an engine for cheap, I am looking for something that will take minimal effort to swap but preferably with v-tec and more HP. What Engines can I put in my car without having to replace much. If possible what engine's can I swap my transmission to?

Facts
-1995 Sedan Lx
-D15B7
-Both with 230K on them
-Burns oil, anything over 4k RPM leaves a cloud of blue smoke
-Built in Ohio
-Clutch and gears are in great condition

If you guys could through out a few sites or resources you have used that would be greatly appreciated.

sorry for being a noob, but got to start somewhere.

#252668 u mean D15B7, right......hahah
putting a D16Z6 or D15B head(Mini me) should be easy enough for u as u dun need to go thru all the wiring effort.

Did one a few weeks ago, came back with 200-200-190-180

Car idles at 500-750rpm after being driven. Cold Start is 1000-1500rpm till warm.

I figured it was the rings, but haven't had anywhere to pull the head off and look at the cylinder walls.
