wassup guys. well i just recently got a ej1 about a month ago so i decided why not join the site. its pretty cool because theres a lot of information about our cars. well im 17 and ill be having many questions for you guys so hope you guys will help me out. thanks!!

Welcome. I also have a EJ1, I love the heck out of it.
Be sure to check out the
DIY Section. Tons of really really good info there on modifing our Cars.
The Stock D16z6 in your engine bay(unless swapped out) responds well to mods. Basic Intake/Headers and Exhaust(I/H/E) and it scoots pretty good. The d16z6 also takes Nitrous and Boost pretty good in Stock form as well.
Also since its going to be asked, Can you post up some pics of your Ride?

Yes I can. I will post them up tomorrow alright. And does the stock engine on an EJ1 has VTEC right? Because someone told me that the stock one doesn't have VTEC.

The EJ1 (civic coupe EX) has the D16z6 stock, which is a SOHC Vtec, the EJ2 (civic coupe dx) has the d15b7 SOHC non-vtec.
Your car has the Vtec Engine, Or atleast it came from the factory fitted with one. However most stock 92-95 Civics dont come stock with Vtec Engines,
Just the Coupe EX, Sedan EX, and Hatchback Si Trims come with Vtec Engines. I guess the Hatch Vx comes with Vtec-E But thats not real Vtec so it doesn't really count.

yeah i thought it did. cuz my friend thinks he knows about hondas and he said that the ej1's dont have VTEC stock.. just had to clear that up

pop the hood and see if it says "vtec". think that might be the easiest way to find out?? just a thought......

yeah it does say vtec but my friend said maybe it was a swap or sumtin but um yeah it has vtec.

The valve cover saying vtec is not always a dead ringer my car is a 92 si and the valve cover is plain just says honda. mainly just look for the position of the spark plugs whether on top (non-vtec) or on bottom (vtec) or at least that is AFAIK

Nice looks almost like mine except the wheels and that pinstripe...Oh and mines Satin blk but thinkin bout changing it back to a glossy paint like jet blk or something...
