Civic EG

Hi. im 16 and have a passion for all cars. i love imports and civics in particular. im getting my liscence soon and i want to buy a civic and mod it. I dont wanna mod it like with 20" chrome wheels and a huge body kit, i wanna make it a clean JDM civic. My question is what are the specifics on a EG civic? i know they have to be a 92-95 but what are some other things that make a civic a EG? like special engine, body..etc.
