Civic EG

hi all, hope your all oki, my names phil, i live in midwales and im a apprentice tech working for ford.

i dont have a civic ....YET

but hopefully with some guidence for you all i should be moving in the jap revolotion

love the look of a eg hatch reali smart.
just thought id pop by and say helo, hope to speak to you all soon

heres the coupe, shes a 1.6 with the honda lump.
i want to know more about the early eg civic's, i want one and basically i want to know wot to get. its got to be a 1.5/1.6, hatchback. what sort of spec is a top spec civic?

The best EG hatch you can get would be a si, they have a 1.6 Vtec engine, sunroof, power mirrors, cruise control, power steering... etc..basic stuff like that, but if you wanted the lightest weight for the fastest car i would say go with a CX, that's honda's lowest end model hatch i believe.

hey this guy isnt in the US, so get the ESi (SOHC VTEC) or even better would be the ViRS (DOHC VTEC)

ViRS (DOHC VTEC) is that like the VTI? are they the D16 engine or the B series?

i thought you could get a DOHC in the Dseries? some of the rover coupes had the twin cam honda engines. thanks

Although it is stamped as ZC, it is still considered part of the D family. JDM-Chick is ordering one for her cx.
