Newbie from New England

Just bought my first civic last month, a 94 ex coupe. Its a little beat up on the outside from a reckless previous owner, but I plan to get the car back to its original glory. So far Ive cleaned it up and put new wheels on it (Integra LS). Yesterday I was looking through the DIY's on here for some help...I'm trying to replace the bulbs in my climate control but Im having one problem-how do I get the climate control knobs out of the face? I can't get the face off because the knobs are in the way and did not see any DIY sections on how to get them off. Any advice? Thanks in advance and I was happy to find this forum, it's the best civic forum I've found so far!
