- Tue Nov 23, 2010 6:31 am #224186 so i hit the freeway with the gas pedal to the floor... changing gears from 1 thru 4th i hav no problem but when changing from 4th to 5th it grinds when i try to put it in gear, this only happens pass 4500 rpms

- Tue Nov 23, 2010 6:35 am #224187 Snchro into 5th is warn and needs to be replaced. Alternatilitiy you can get a new transmission, Start Double Clutching into 5th, or get a new transmission.
