What up what up, I'm Marc from El Cerrito, CA (next to Oakland).
This is my ride, 1994 Honda Civic DX Hatch:
Completely stock
Painted 13" steelies
Been in 2 accidents and still damage from that (not shown in pic )
150k miles
My family is the original owner, so I remember sitting in the backseat of this thing when I was as young as 4 years old
Here's a pic of one of the wheels (did this job today, actually):
This forum's been awesome and extremely helpful thus far, and it definitely motivates me to take on some new (but simple) projects. No swaps/wire tucks/engine work for me, I'm a noob and I'll stay a noob .
But I def want to work on:
Remove antenna
Painting worn out parts of the car (like teal_dx said, cars can look so much younger when the simplest things are fixed up)
Fixing all the dents (such a process...)
Swapping out the wheels for 14"/15" steelies
Running sport tires on those 14"/15" steelies
Shocks/Springs set
Some sort of simple but awesome sound system
I drive this car mainly in the hills, with lots of twists and turns, it's called Tilden Park. I highly recommend it if any of you guys are down for a little mountain driving and are in the Bay Area. The Park also has an excellent view of San Francisco, which is definitely what attracts myself, my friends, and many other locals/tourists.
Nice to meet y'all!
