i want to first apologise for the noobies from me... but i trying to keep up with the short form you guys are writing.. and it would be good that you guys can give me expansion of the initials..

different between long block and a short block??

stuff like that.. i kind of confused when reading some of the advance technical language...

all the help is appreciated...

ITB = Independent Throttle Body. Which means that instead of having one throttle body and an intake manifold for all cylinders it has a throttle body for each cylinder allowing more air into each piston chamber

this could actually be useful for newbies we should list a bunch of different abbreviations and their meanings

Short block = block only

Long block = block and head

No transmission on either one.
