hi, i'm new to the site as you can see, names josh, i'm 17 and i'm from Wales in the U.K. I own a civic hatchback LSI which is currently being sprayed red I have lots of plans for my beast and i hope i learn a lot from this site thanks

ahaa just to tidy it up really, keep it clean + a few bits here and there and hopefully one day a new engine conversion, but cant afford that at the moment what are your plans for yours then mate??

i have just bought an ej2 coupe with a d15 automatic box lol that i am going to do the same as you mate, smarten it up, i have done engine conversions before and to be fair they aint that expensive if you look hard enough, my brother has a k20 eg so thats making me think lol

i'm new to all the engine conversion lark, but it looks interesting and its one of the main things i want to do to the car 'coz mines only a D15 aswell but yeah ive seen some B18 and B16's on ebay around the £1500 which seems quite reasonable, but to be honest i wouldn't know where to start with actually fitting the engine lol, cant wait to start getting into the serious stuff but ive gotta wait another week or so until i get the car back lol

i got a full jdm b16a with 78k, lsd box, loom, ecu,mounts and shifter for £550 and thatts a like for like swap. What model eg do you have, is it an eg4?

not bad that i would be interested, but the only other downfall again would be the insurance, 'coz i'm still only 17 so would cost a bomb yep sure is mate do they fit straight in then or do ya need new parts?? (the B engines)

hrmmm i see, that may be worth considering , but it's a bit risky keeping it registered as still an LSi isn't it??

no i stuck to the speed limits, drove sensible and if i did get stopped i would have just pleaded ignorance my coupe is going to get the same transplant.
