Hey just picked up my own civic, bought it off my sister for 1500.
The names Russ, from Jackson Center, Ohio. (about 40 min away from Lima and Dayton)
Its a 93 Coupe Ex, 230k+ miles on body, 80k on D16Z6 swap, Stage 2 clutch, 99-00 Si Wheels, Lowered, body needs a little work, but will be doing all that over the next few months and have it ready for a paint job in the spring.
My g/f has had a 04 Ex since we got together last year and I've driven it many times and enjoyed everything about it, now I have my own civic and I'm extremely satisfied with it.
The forums have helped me out alot in the past few days, from diagnosing my Speedo failure, to fixing my sticking/slow sunroof and driver window. I'm honored to be a part of the EG team.

Thinking of swapping out the polyurethane bumper for a stock bumper with lip and some fog lights.

Seams like a good base. Going to a Coupe Bumper w/ Fogs and a Lip would look really good. I would also recommend ditching those halo projectors and get some knockoff JDM headlights off ebay.

you can get deals on used oem lights all day on ebay, the only really good projector out there are denji's, other than them i believe the oem lights have better light out put, go with a more modest front bumper and you got yourself a a nice ride. welcome to the site

I agree, look for an oem bumper first... the one on there now looks huge!

Update.
So I traded the Coupe for a 94 accord ex 4dr auto, on the 18th of December.
No worries though, a girl at work has a 92 DX hatch completely bone stock, and she's trading me +cash for my accord, so I'll have pictures up soon.
Whats the best direction to go with the hatch, motor wise. I'm going jdm with the body and wheels. looking to spend about 1000 give or take a few hundred, I loved my Z6 in my coupe so was thinking of swapping in a Z6, how are the ZC swaps?

Welcome. I say you stick with the engine it has now and save up some more money to get one thats worth it. Like a b16 or GSR, thats my opinion.

I was thinking DOHC ZC. I am just really in love with the D16Z6, I know I can go with a Mini-Me swap, but I'd rather just get a whole Z6 drop out and go with boost. I have a plan for the car, just not 100% sure on the motor. I love how the B16A2 and even the H22A1 swaps look, but I dunno. Thanks for all your input though, glad to see so much feedback. Hopefully I can attend some of the meets this year.
