Here's a video I found of the top being removed
geez how many steroids is that bloke on
your right in what you said, more comanly known as a 'tilter unit'
this is my Del Sol SiR with a piccy of the unit just about
heres how it works.....
1- ensure the rear window is up, a saftey measure from honda so that you cant stick your arm out and get it stuck, not that it;d be that easy tbh
2- undo the 2 latches either side of the roof pictured
pic 1
3- press the roof button on the dash on the right hand side of the dial cluster the boot then raises to the highest position
4- the roof itself then tilts on the tilter motor then the car beeps,
5- the rods come from the boot and latch into the roof
6- you then turn the handle on the roof (pictured above in the center at the rear of the roof) from closed to open this free's the roof from the front of the car
7- the roof then slides back into the boot and the boot lowers stopping twice on the way down again another saftey measure
and voila the birds flying above now have a target
hope that clears it up a little
