#45759 I feel like a lolnoob asking, but what's the difference between EJ1, EJ2, and an EG? I thought EG was our chassis type.

And isn't the title EJ reserved only for the coupes?

www.google.com "Honda vin"

Characters 4-6 on your VIN. This list might not be right, but you'll find it. EG comes from EG6, the famed Civic hatch SiR. And there are some EGs here, too.

#46619 In the States you have different VIN numbers.
EDM:

EG3 = 3d h/b 1.3 carb 75hp (DX)
EG4 = 3d h/b 1.5 dualpoint 90hp (DXi/LSi)
EG5 = 3d h/b 1.6 sohc VTEC 127hp (ESi)
EG6 = 3d h/b 1.6 VTEC 158hp (VTi)

I don't know about the Del Sol VIN's, and I've never seen a 1.5 in a del slo... its either a sohc VTEC or a full VTEC (ESi or VTi).

Coupe and sedan have the same VIN's as their counterparts in the U.S.
We just named them differently.
