Civic EG

Has anyone ever put a Del sol Front end on a EJ1?
I cant think of anyone who has, Cant find anything on google. I photoshoped up a few things and nothing lined up right so it looked odd.

If you have any pics of a Del sol Front end/Clip on a EJ1 Coupe(or any EG+EJ) I would be grateful to see them.
With front end conversions going onto Del sols, the original fronts have to be floating out there somewhere.

The thought of doing a Front End Conversion is something that I have been playing with in my mind since I got the car.

I think the front end on a Del Solly is smaller. Also it would look well crap considering the coupe is one of the biggest body shapes. Del Sol's where designed small.

I had actually pondered doing that also, but now that I've seen it done, there's no possible way I am going to do that. May be some folks cup of tea but not mine.

I did a quick photohop edit, and even in purple it doesn't look that good.

Maybe it will look better on a Hatch.

Doesn't look that bad. In fact If I had a hatch I would do the conversion.

looks better in black. hatchback dosnt look too bad, i think it just looks crap on a longer car.

IMO... it would look better if you'd put an EG Civic nose on a Del Sol;


IMO an EK front looks better...
I'm no Sol fan, neither an EK fan, but this looks pretty good (with a decent front bumper that would be...)


In the mentioned topic... sorry to say, but that sedan with S2000 nose has potential...
Put it on a coupe, use only original parts, leave the original lines of the rest of the car as much intact as possible, add a nicer color, and tadaaa, you have a nice car.
Probably takes a couple of hundred hours to get it to fit like it was stock, but none the less... it has potential.
