fuel gauge problems

what would cause the fuel gauge to go up and down all the time....especially when i corner hard......ive heard before it could be a fuel pump issue

Probably just a bad float. The thing inside the fuel tank attached to the fuel pump that moves up and down with your fuel gauge telling you where your fuel level is sitting.
