I tried to get my car inspected today here in Texas. It did not pass because of the emissions. the report came saying it was running to rich. is there a quick way of fixing this? if you need more info to help me.....just reply and let me know......the test said at low RPM's it was putting out to much PPM.

first off do you have any cel lights?
if not first check out your spark plugs, wires, and rotor cap
if all good then check your air filter restricted air flow can cause increased fuel in the combustion chamber but not as common as you would think
honestly sounds like your cat isnt working correctly
take it to a local exhaust shop who posesses and knows how to use scan tools
have them take a look at your o2 sensors and make sure they are within the limits o2 sensors can get stuck and not throw a code, be stuck on lean or + which tells the ecu to add more fuel. so your "fueling" instead of being stoich or normal
hope this helps you out friend
