fuel pump replacement

So I did some searchin on the forum and it looks like my fuel pump is goin out I get a cel #43 replaced my fuel filter no dice . So was wondering how hard is it to change can I just pull up the back seat or do I have to drop the tank out :x need advise plzzz

:x. Now I have a code 41 also but don't under stand what that mean oxygen sensor heater???? Anyone know what that is

It's not common for a fuel pump to go bad. I'd check your injectors first.

there you go, except yours will be easier if you use a stock replacement.

Try installing a different o2 sensor to see if the 41 goes away. :thumb:

Thanks teal ya I'm goin to try a new o2 cuz I unpluged it on the way home from work and it wasn't boggin around 3k anymore so that might be the culprite

answer to your original question; you dont have to drop the tank. take the rear seat off, unscrew some nuts, unclip some connectors and hoses, remove fuel pump.

pick up a helms manual
