- Wed Aug 19, 2009 8:03 pm #138844 there were no 1.8 liter D series, a D16 is a 1.6 liter. the only 1.8 liter in 94 would be a B18 which did not come in Civic's

For a d16 which you probably have.
You do not want "cheap" mods, cheap mods break.
i have cheap ebay coilovers, yeah they look good but the ride is horrible and its like a bounce house...
when they brake they will most likely brake something else.
save your money and buy quality products.
You can do a basic I/H/E for a little extra power.
