Civic photoshop COME SEE

- Tue Jul 08, 2008 2:55 pm #61233 I havnt chopped in a while now as I just havnt had the time really, but I was bored last night and thought I've never chopped my car before, so I gave it ago for fun really only wanting to spend about half an hour on it but I kind of got engrossed in working on it and spent alot longer than I intended.

The car on the chop is actually mine I worked from a photo I took on my SLR so the car is really high quality.

I didnt want to go all out on the body work as I wanted to make a scene not a new car design.

Anyway enough writing here it is.

The tail lights look like they are a little too airbrushed, if the opacity of the red was reduced to see some more of the light itself, I think it would look a lot more real :thumb:

The reflections/lighting came out great, looks like the car was really there!

Id say it took approx 5 hours ish.

Thought it would be quite handy if I wrote a spec list of what Id done.

- Changed the lighting on the background
- Edited out the 911
- Added both Scooby and RX7
- Added a headlight beam on the pillar
- Moved the car over
- Added new shadow under car
- Changed the wheels and matched the lighting accordingly
- Lowered the car slightly
- Changed the lighting curves on the car to match the background
- Added new reflections e.g. Windows
- Added Wind deflectors, gauges, JDM new driver suction thing and stickers
- Added exhaust and changed curves to match lighting.
- Gave the boot CF look and the spoiler
- Added a light effect on the rear lights (a bit over brushed as said)
- Added smoke from exhaust and red lighting effects on bumper and smke.
