This is a good idea for anyone who doesn't want to spend $$ on a tripod/monopod or doesn't like to carry it with them all the time.

It won't do much for night or long exposure shots. It's really more of a monopod alternative. But if you have trouble keeping the camera steady, then it can help. :thumb:

Most people wrap their strap around their elbow to eliminate camera shake. Same idea
