help with photoshop

hey guys. I had photoshop several years back, im getting into programing on the side and i cant afford to purchase the program again. (im a student). I was hoping someone might be able to help guide me in a positive direction towards getting the program.

is photoshop elements a worthwhile product? i do plan on doing some serious stuff once i get back into it. First things first though im getting into android programing and need something i can make images with.

Elements is a basic version of photoshop and should be what you need.

Went ahead and got elements.
Made my new sig with it
Let me know though teal if its too big with the link in there with it.
