I received a PM from a member asking about a live chat for the website.

We had something along those lines a while back, long before the days of facebook. Eventually, it died out so I ended up deleting it.

Let me know if this is something you would like to see on our site. If it's something that people will use, I'll set it up.

I like the idea. Would help for things like troubleshooting.

Say, someone posts an issue and then says "I'm in chat, please help"

Then whoever sees the original post can join them in chat and work the issue out.

Or just to BS stuff that would make Junkyard with fellow EG owners... which i'm cool with too.

im on 2 diff forums for my infiniti both having chat.

one is www.g20.net, you are only able to chat if your sponsor the site,
its 24 buck a year, the site it faster, and they have a sponsor section, which has its own how to's and fs thread

then the other one is www.sr20-forum.com, which I believe after a certain post count or if they see your active. but I believe its post count, the chat appears.

the g20.net chat is pretty active, a lot of the non fb'ers and same with the sr20-forum.


I think its a good idea, get the non fb'ers talking and more traffic to the site

a live chat would be sweet.
i kinda like what ajax1989 suggested, do something like a post count requirement.

it seems this will never happen since there is only 10 votes untill now
