- Fri Jul 27, 2007 7:35 pm #17486 Since people either love or hate quick reply... I tried something that should make everyone happy. By default, you would never know that it now exists.

People who hate it: do nothing 8)

People who love it: Go to your Profile. Look under "Preferences" and you'll see "Show quick reply box" change it to "Yes", or "With Smiles" if you are a fan of the smiles :D

Now you will have a quick reply area at the bottom of the post :thumb:

The quick reply feature was causing problems with other areas of the forum. the fix was to have it not appear in your profile, so it had been disabled for now... those who had the quick reply on before it was removed still have quick reply option. those who has it turned off still don't have quick reply. I took it down about 2 weeks ago and reverted to old back-up files.
This is something that I will have to search through the code line by line to look for a problem (such as an extra character or space) that was corrupting the profile page. But it will be back eventually :thumb:
