This is pretty cool, looks like WW3 is going down. Also, China and everyone else is attacking the hell out of St Louis :eh: Wonder what is there that everyone is trying to hack :?

#350633 It's a live map showing hacking attacks, from one country to another, as they happen. Every once in a while China tries to hack the shit out of the US and it looks like that old school game Missle Command, right before the computer destroys you. 8)

I wonder if that's because all of North Korea's net is fed though a handful of connections controlled by China

#350702 I seriously question the validity of this data. The simple fact that they try to pass telnet off as a "hack tactic" really just cracks me up inside and puts a frown on my face. The only hack attempts they'll be able to monitor are the obvious ones.

You also must know that a majority of hacking is done indirectly, via proxy, VPN, or infected hosts like your old coworker who keeps getting viruses by downloading free browser smilies, now their computer can be used for Chinese-US attacks. Likewise, just because the connection stems from China doesn't mean the Chinese are doing it.

St. Louis is a central hub for the US. It's ping times are consistent between the east and west coast. I'm sure many thousands of out-of-state websites and services are hosted there. Ferguson might have something to do with more recent attacks.

Despite my doubts, this would look completely wicked being played on my TV if it was a little smoother. Kind of makes me feel like Tony Stark just watching it. Especially when a DDoS goes off and a huge volley of yellow lines merge on a single target.. haha..

This is just a screensaver toy compared to whatever the NSA has cooked up over the decades.
