Should I scrap this heater?

I got this old heater for free. It's natural gas, 160,000 BTU's and made by Dayton. Model is 3e249, it is discontinued. I'd guess this one is from the 80's.

I put it on CL for $100 on Friday and no bites yet.

It's a heavy bastard... 200-300 lbs I'd guess. Anyone know if these are worth much in scrap? Any good metals inside?

I'd hang onto it for a while but I'm not able to use my truck until this thing is gone.

Not sure the value but i would say you might get 20 bucks in scrap. Or find a local place that deals with large heater systems. thay may need it for parts and may give you a lil cash for it or they may just take it off your hands for free. :thumb:
