what motor is in the uk 3dr 1.6 ESi?

looking at one for sale wondering if the motors good enough to tune for a noob to eg's?

wheres the best lace to get parts for them? all the parts like induction kits and exhust manifolds i find marked eg are B16b based?

B16 is not what you have yours is D16. have to get parts for that. if you are looking for parts and it show b16 then it will not work.

is there much made for the d16 motor?

D16z6 dude vtec 1.6 16v i think they are 130bhp standard SOHC
i my m8 has on pretty quick car espeacialy at 4.500rpm when tec kicks in lol

ok so im getting a esi i have seen a few around 400 to 500 quid that are tidy
first mods will be manifold and cat back exhuast and induction kit

that sounds pretty decent a nice exhaust system and mani will make it sound awsome espeaicaly when vtec kicks in lol then all youll need is a nice set of wheels and some coilovers look sweet then :thumb:

yeah went japfest the other day andsawloads of sweet eg's no i have to build one! was stood like 2 foot from a blue eg on the dyno (pic in the pics thread) at full roar sounded mental
