Any 92-95 Civic will be an easy swap.
However all 92 Civics are wired for VTEC so that makes wiring easier.
All 92-95 Civic EX(usdm, Came with D16z6 SOHC VTEC) and VX(USDM Came with D15z1 SOHC VTEC-E) are wired up for Vtec. Pretty sure the UK Got similar Models. not sure what there are called. Our UK Members will fill you for sure though.

No matter what 92-95 Civic you drop it into. You will still need to run the Knock sensor Wire or have it disable via tuning.

i'd throw it in your egsi chasis. it already has teh vtec wires hooked up and you just have to take out the old adn in with the new. then some wiring with teh dizzy and injectors, but it wont be hard at all, unless you really know nothing about swaps.

I'm not sure what options came with each of the UK models of Civic. But if wither of the models you have don't have a moon roof that one would be your best bet. Over the long term it will be less likely to rust in the rear quarters.

Wiring up VTEC isn't a big deal to do with a How-To and a few hours free time. Will you be using an OBDII B16? Will you be converting it to OBDI?

even in cars wired for vtec with a single cam you will still have to run more wires. Whether its 2 or more, you have to do it. The B16a swap is easy in every civic from 88-00.

ive just done this conversion mate and its easy to put in the wireing is the hard bitty

the 1.3 dx u would need to change the interior loom an the engine loom with vti looms or if your a clever cookey then u can wire vtec through an coupe lsi loom (option i opted for as its hard to source vti looms)

the esi is a basic plug and play just change the engine loom over and lug it into the esi loom easy

yup. any 88-00 will be an easier swap. 88-91 can be a bit of a pain but i love it & its worth it. 92-95 is what i moved onto. cant wait for this build! my first eg!
