ok so i was reading holly's build thread all the way through again and noticed she put a rear fog inside of the rear lights?


she called it edm rear fog but when i search that up it comes up as a light on the rear bumber......... am i not searchng right or was that kind of a custom way of doing it?

i want the rear fog but i dont want that stupid light in my back bumper!?!?!

anybody know of a diy for this or sumthin?


and holly if you did this custom would you mind if i copied cuz i think the idea is sick!

Yes she did. the ones that are in the bumper are from EK's or DC's

ooooooooh ok so ppl are putting ek rear fogs on eg's.... that stupid anyway that changes everything .... thanks got all i needed

yeah the EDM EG ones are harder to come by so people just go with the EK or DC which defeats the point entirely if you ask me

where can you get those lights and do you have to get the whole rear set up i mean since it is only in the rear inner drivers side hatch light

Well that's something i'm gonna have to let someone else answer, i believe it's just the inner part that you need.

The ones in the bumper are shit, they came on UK ITRs, EK foglights are in the cluster too - its shitty importers here that put them in the bumper instead of fitting UK lights or adapting the cluster to include a foglight

There are many different rear fog lights. There's the edm one for the hatch that is just the inner part of the tail light on the drivers side. There's also the one for the EK's and DC's that goes in the bumper. There's a guy on another forum that custom makes a rear fog light for an EJ1/EJ2 that is just like the hatch rear fog. But most people just put the EK one on their bumpers.

As for wiring, I'm pretty sure you have to do a little rewiring because the edm inside hatch lights don't come on when you have all the lights on. The US tail lights light up all along the bottom. But I'm pretty sure all you have to get is the edm fog light and possibly do a little rewiring to make it light up right. I'll let you know in a few weeks when I get mine lol. I'm only getting the rear fog, not the full set of edm tail lights since they are the same except the wiring.

i could prolly get you a pair from the junkyard if you really want them but i wont trade mine cuz they have no scratches whatsoever

so you want our outter lights? I want the edm inner lights with the fog light. Ill see what I can do.

EK one goes in the cluster too, no EK's come with them in the bumper - its UK DC2s that have them in the bumper as standard, otherwise its been importers or idiots that have put them there

Yeah i want a pair of US outers cos they light up all the way to the inner lights, dont they? I dont want a scratched mingin pair though

I can get a tailgate loom too if anyone wants the wiring

our outers light up on the bottom when the running lights are on and then when you hit the brakes ....ONLY the outers get brighter. The only time our inners do the same thing is when we add the inner brake lights

and yeah if you can get all of that i will try to go straight up the the yard in the next day or two, and find the best pair

most of the time no1 takes the outer tails over here
