parts b4 going turbo

i wanted to know if u can help me out.. what parts should i get b4 i go turbo on a d16y7 with a z6 head i know i need pistons, camshaft, cams, and arp rods. but i don't know if that's all i need or i would need anythings else thanks for your help

you don't NEED a cam. You could boost on a stock bottom end if you want to. How long it lasts depends on the amount of power you want and your tune.
But ideally a set of vitaras or something better would be a good choice. Rods aren't a bad idea either.
what kind of power do you want to make?

Just me personally, before I would completely build that engine I would swap in a B series.
I say boost it on the stock internals until you want to go faster.

i just want to get 235 or something like that n keep it a daily driver as well

Boost the stock motor. Make sure you get bigger injectors and a dyno tune. Don't skip out on these like alot people do.
