My friend has a 92 CX hatchback and does not have the rear windshield wiper motor. So I am selling him my rear wiper motor. How would I go about wiring this? Is there any way I can run a wire to a flip switch?

Is it worth it to have some tacky looking wired-up flip switch?
Unless you can install it in an OEM style I wouldn't bother. Almost no egs here in North America have a rear wiper, we just have a rear defroster and we get by fine

I'd buy a haynes manual and look in the chassis wiring section if you want to run your own wires, or get the harness from a junk yard. The flip switch is possible, and faster than replacing the whole column switch and wiring it all up.

I don't see why you can't, I know a guy that rices up a lot of Hondas(not saying all flip switches are rice) and he gets his flip switches/wire from Walmart in the auto department around the lights/fuses.
Now for the wiring process, sorry I can't help you with that.

As I said its for a friend. As for the wiring what wires would I have to use? I know how to wire switches up and what not I just need to know what kind of wire would work since it has a clip that plugs into the rear wiper motor?

get the clip from a junk yard and get the rest of the harness while you're there or buy some 16 ga wire from radioshack or similar. Then some solder and heat shrink tubing and you'll have yourself a homemade harness

Odd because I see absolutely ZERO here.

Wasnt meant to be hostile. Just letting the truth be known. Just because you dont see it doesnt mean its not out there. Alot of people take the wiper off.

If they take it off then my point still stands and is still valid, MANY eg drivers can see out the rear window just fine without the wiper, so unless it can be installed in an OEM fashion I don't think it's worth the time/image of a flipswitch.
Meh.

I don't see how you can read the post and get all pissy of what is not going in YOUR car. Its our choice if we want it so who cares, people take it off and some people don't.

Ouch, are you new to the interweb? lol.
People voice their opinions, no one's pissy here.

The cars without the wiper, do they have the hole already in the rear window? Or would you have to cut it out? Or maybe buy one with it in?
As for this, I agree. No point in a rear wiper really. I've had one on all my cars and have never used it.
