Did you check all of your fuses?
Did the lights work when you got the Hatch?

I doubt moisture could damage the bulb/socket with bulbs in them. I live in Washington State (thus the space needle in my Signature) and I have never had electrical problems, Well atleast not any due to moisture. It rains all the time and we have tons of foggy mornings, frozen windshields, Sometimes ice on the inside. Not once has it damaged my electronics on any of my Honda's, or any of the vehicles at my house.
The most likely causes for lights not working are the following:
>- Bulb Blown
>- Fuse Blown (might have a crack hard to see, using a volt meter is a good way to see if they are blown)
>- Replacement Fuse to small (Next to check, try putting in a slightly bigger fuse. My Taillights didn't work once because i blew a fuse that powered my dash lights, I think it was labled for the acceries or inner lighting or something. I put in a 15 instead of a 10 or a 10 instead of a 5 or whatever it said to and I have not had a problem since. Its been a good year and a half since.)
You might have a wire that is unshielded and shorting. However if it did this then it would be Blowing fuses. Therefore that is Unlikely. Honda wires are kept wrapped in looms for a reason.

tail lights like these will look good. Also probably cheaper then oem replacements, although they look oem. Remember to put caulking on the lights edges so they don't leak moisture into them.
